Spend more time with loved ones & spend less money on activities!

It's a New Year, ALREADY!?!
The seasons do not seem to fade in and out, they are "WHAM! It's the next chapter! Move On!"
With that celebrating new things can not only eat away more time, but eat away our budgets as well. I am hoping to share some budget friendly ways of hosting events, wedding ceremonies, or every day gift ideas that you can do to maintain your budget.

PARTY TIME!
Hosting a party is a fun way to get your family and friends together to spend quality time with them. YEAH!!
With our busy lives it can be overwhelming and pricey to make this happen. Unfortunately, many just opt out due to the costs and time involved.  I want to give some tips on how to have a great party for your loved ones so that we don't miss those important memories we need to fulfill our lives.

Activity Parties
-Game Night
There are lots of game ideas online, create a theme night focused around the game you choose. You could also purchase a board game that would be the main event! Make food themed snack or desserts that will go along with the game for example, if the game choice is Clue, make Professor Plum Fruit Salad, or Cupcakes themed in the names of the characters and/or weapons. You could also ask your friends to each bring their favorite board game and take turns playing each game. A winner could receive a small prize. If you are feeling crafty, you could create a trophy titled GAME NIGHT CHAMPION and anytime you have game night, this trophy goes home with that winner. Make it an annual theme!

- Wine Tastings
Gather your friends and have a wine tasting event. This can be a fun inexpensive experience to share with friends. Order a few bottles of wine, make a charcuterie board

and invite through social media! Food, Wine, and Fun! XOXO Florals & Wine offers One Hope Wine which has fundraiser events for your local charities or schools. You and your gang can drink wine and raise money for a good cause. For more details visit viaonehope.com/xoxo

-Cooking Classes
If you happen to have a great recipe and feel brave enough to share it with your friends, this is a great way to have fun and help inspire others to stay home for dinner! Many times we rush and don't eat healthy but we can find our favorite recipes, grab the ingredients needed and show our friends just how it's done. Print up the recipe for them to take with them.

Take turns with your friends so you can learn their favorite recipes and add some new ones to your recipe box. You could also tackle a few new ideas from a recipe blog online as a group effort! Ask each guest to bring a part of the ingredient to get them even more involved in the experience!

There are so many ways to have a great time together! All these activities make it easier to bring new friends together, a way to break the ice! It can also create a lasting bond between everyone! I hope I have inspired you to get together this year with those you love, or even some people you have just met this new year! Most of all, take some quality time!

XOXO,
Jamie June
